"Move your bloomin' ass"

I grew up watching My Fair Lady.

I hated Freddy Eynsford-Hill

"It's the new small talk, you do it so awfully well"
 Loved Henry Higgins
(slash Dr. Dolittle)

"The French don't really care what they say really, as long as they pronounce it properly"

and woshiped Eliza

I thought since her name was Audrey and my name is Aubrey
we were practically sisters.

One of the constant reminders in my life, that I'll never actually BE Audrey is this.
Sometimes when I meet someone new, this converstaion occurs

"What is your name?"
"Aubrey"
"Audrey?"
at this point... I pause... and muse about simply letting them assume Audrey is my name.....
but ,
I do love my name too,
so I am obliged to let them know...

"No, AuBrey, with a B"
(usually occompanied by a sign language B)

Mr Rochester v Mr Darcy v Mr Knightley v Prince Albert v Gilbert Blythe

Quote

"Your transfix me quite"
-Edward Fairfax Rochester

"In vain I have struggled. It will not do. My feelings will not be repressed. You must allow me to tell you how ardently I admire and love you."
-Fitzwilliam Darcy

"Faultless in spite of all her faults"
-George Knightley

"I should find one to play it with you, not for you"
Prince Albert of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha

"I'm soury Anne"
Gilbert Blythe

Point goes to.... George
Even though I can't get "you transfix me quite" out of my head after seen Jane Eyre this weekned.
Also, "You sir, most phantom like of all"

Looks

Mr. Rochester 2011

Mr. Darcy 1995 & 2005

Mr. Knightley 1996

Prince Albert

Gil 1985

The point ... Prince Albert
Disclaimer I did see the original Mr. Darcy at the Sundance Film Fesival and I may have literally gone weak at the knees and need the support of the fence in front of me from falling into the snow and my friend Brittany Anne may have shouted "I love you Mr. Darcy" at him.... it was a VERY close race

Wooing Formula

Jane knew what was up. She frequently ran away, he always followed.
She saved his life from a fire. He was eternally grateful.
She fainted. He caught her.

He insulted her
"She is tolerable, I suppose, but not handsome enough to tempt me"
He convinced his best friend not to marry her sister.
BUT
It was all in the name of love and high moral standards.
Eventually he saved her younger sister and family from shame.

Best friend all along.

He went to England and made her smile.

Best friend all along.

The Point goes to... Mr. Darcy.
While I love the romance of Jane's story, she had to do alot of the work. Mr. Darcy was such a mystery.

Everyone's a winner.

Lomography

I bought myself an old school plastic film camera
It's supposed to take pictures with interesting color
and weird edges

or you can take pictures on top of each other

So I was out and about on Saturday and I found the most beautiful tree! I went home and got my mom and brother and made them come with me to the tree and took tons of pictures.
Then Grey and I did some other photoshoots, harassing my dog into being my subject,
picutres my fences, etc etc

I thought I knew what I was doing when my film was done.
Nope.
I exposed it.
Oye Vey! Beter luck next time..

body pump

Favorite thing about Monday.

That - and that I don't have to think about what I want to wear- just grab what I wore to church the day before.
