I recently started listening to Country Music. I have a long drive to work and while I prefer the "local, alternative" station, I've discovered that the country station seems to play the least commercials. While flipping around I often end up at KASE 101.7

Here is the fun part about country music.

Sometimes - I think the songs I'm listening to are commercials.

There is one where he sings about being "pretty good at drinking beer" and he says "I love my bud light" and at first I thought it was simply a delightful yet long commercial. No - it's a song.

Anyways, the superbowl comes around, and I watch it of course. I fell in love with the HEB commercial that is a country music video type thing. Well, it played on the country station the other day, and I just have to say, if I didn't already adore H-E-B for their jam& pre-marinated chicken, done, I'm in love.

For some reason all I want to do is shop shop shop shop right now.

I haven't felt this way in ages. I haven't  anything specific I need or want.

Actuallly, there is a desire for a new funky dress. I'm going to Anthro tomorrow.

If they don't have anything for me (things there, though beautiful, can be ill-fitting), I'll make my way to Gap and Target.

Too bad clothes shopping online is not my thing. I do adore Amazon.com, but not for clothes. And with Anthro.com or dillards.com you don't get to try anything on. And I have a special body with special needs.

I also adore musicals in film. West Side Story is my favorite.

But more than anything I love owning the soundtracks. If it's not Evita, I listen to Les Mis, Fiddler, Chicgo, Hairspray, The King and I... This is what gets me through the work day.

You might notice a HUGE thing missing. but NO, I have NO desire to see Wicked.

I don't care what's Popular, I don't want to be Popullllar.

I'm a lunatic. My bro is going to Argentina on his mission (sob) so I've had a resurgance in my infatuation with this movie.

Thank goodness for YouTube so I can watch my favorite parts of the movie over and over and over again.

So in preparation for the upcoming swim suit season I am not going to DIEt.

I'm going to eat healthy, I know how to do that.

Avoid sugary things (this is the hardest part)

and work out.
