Elevators and Jimmy Johns
Elevators are a daily endurance. I prefer to take stairs when I can but they are so akward and creepy in my building. Sometimes you're alone and that is nice. Sometimes you're with a creep who seems really uncomfortable, as if I'm a vampire. Sometimes people are fine, nbd, whatever. Sometimes people are just friendly enough, and sometimes over friendly.
Constant vigilance.
But there is always the hope, the dream, the chance that you might get to be on an elevator with a Jimmy John's delivery boy (or something similar). They don't look like they fit in. They usually have really tight cut off shorts, or something similar. A messy do, and usually facial hair. It's cool, I love them.
They are a far cry from the men I'm used to seeing in the elevators, business suits with cowboy boots, ladies in ill fitting pants and a tupperwear container that has or had lunch in it.

Crush

I always have movie crushes, that's obvious.
It's funny how when presented in different mediums, whether book or movie, your love for this or that character can be different.
Examples:
LOTR Movie Crushes

| Leoglas the woodland elf |

| Faramir son of Denethor II, the Steward of Gondor |

| Meriodic "Merry" Brandybuck, of the Shire |
LOTR Book Crushes
![]() |
| Boramir, son of Denetor II, Steward of Gondor |

| Haldir of Lothlórien, probably a Silvan Elf. |
Legolas - done, just look at those blonde braids and pointy ears. Aubrey means ruler of the elves.
Faramir - I don't really know why I love him, he's not techincally good looking, I just melt when he's on screen though.
Merry - I love the crooked nose and his angry eyebrows, and of course, he's short so I'm sold.
Boramir- HATED him in the movie, and he's not cute, but I adore adore adore him in the book. He's wonderful, and frequently described as very tall and strong. Ew la la!
Haldir- again, not cute in the movie, though I do love him. You get to know him so well in the book too and I'm smitten. Ruler of the elves.
Harry Potter Movie Crush

Draco Malfoy Harry Potter Book Crushes
|
Draco - Too cute to care that he's evil
Fred and George - done and done. I'm sold, I'm in love. Done
Lupin - He's just written so wisely. AND he's a werewolf.

Kendyl: I don't think he has facebook.
Me: If he doesn't have facebook he doesn't exist.
Kendyl: Haha I like that
Me: Too bad I didn't write it on your wall, so you could "like" it on facebook. I like this conversation so much that I might blog about it.
Kendyl: I approve of the blogging and facebook activites... More blogging than facebook.
All That is Gold Does Not Glitter
In college my favorite stupid pointless class was Caligraphy.
I'm not an artist so of course I was bad at it but my favorite project was writing this out.

I'm not an artist so of course I was bad at it but my favorite project was writing this out.
The time has come, my little friends, to talk of other things
of shoes and ships and sealing wax, of cabbages and kings
and why the sea is boiling hot, and whether pigs have wings
Calloo, Callay, let's eat today like cabbages and kings.
-Alice in Wonderland
(The original animated Disney version that is)
If I could go back in time, I wouldn't change that decision but I've come across some other real contenders.
LOTR
&

Lee Ann Womanck
In my other project for that class I quoted Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore
Just for the sheer fun of getting to write his whole entire name
Also it's a great quote.
Dark and difficulte times lie ahead. Soon we must all face the choice between what is right and what is easy.
Here are some other awesome pictures

verge of spontaneous combustion

I'm 23. Like Michael Jordan.
I'm almost 24 but that is besides the point - I didn't have a blog on my birthday. I always had random thoughts about turning 23 thanks to a random assortment of songs I'd heard which had weighed heavily on my mind.
23 by Jimmy Eat World
Amazing still it seems
I'll be 23
I won't always love what I'll never have
I won't always live in my regrets
Gangsta's Paradise by Coolio
23 now but will I live to see 24
The way things is going, I don't know.
Pardon Me by Incubus
Never thought I would be, at 23,
On the verge of spontaneous combustion
woe-is-me
What's my Age Again by Blink 182
Nobody likes you when you're 23.
